An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old are due in court charged with murder after man was fatally injured in an alleyway in Sedgley.
23-year-old Shane Watson (pictured) was found just off Springfield Grove at 3.20am on Saturday (28th July).
He had suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died.
An 18-year-old student and a 19-year-old retail worker have been charged with Mr Watson’s murder and will appear before Dudley magistrates this morning (July 30).
A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
DI Harry Harrison from Force CID said: “Officers are carrying out enquiries at the scene and we are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or anyone who was in the area in the early hours of this morning to contact us as soon as possible.”

It comes as a 16 year old boy died in Smethwick after being stabbed outside a social club in Oldbury Road in the early hours of the morning.
