A 15-year-old boy has been charged after a serious attack outside a Birmingham mosque.
A 22-year-old man is still critically ill in hospital after the incident on St Oswald’s Road in Small Heath.
It’s understood a fight broke out between two people just before 2.30pm on Friday afternoon which led to others becoming involved in the disturbance.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Stuart Kidd, said:
“There is no change in the condition of the young man who suffered serious injuries during the attack…he is still very poorly in hospital.”
A 15-year-old local lad was arrested on Sunday night and charged with Grievous Bodily Harm on Monday.
Two other men who were arrested have now been released on bail.
