Teen Stabbed At College In Brum


A teenager is critically injured after being stabbed in Longbridge.

Emergency services were called to Bournville College on Longbridge Lane at around 1:30 on Friday afternoon.

Ambulance crews took a 17-year-old to hospital with a serious stab wound.

One person was arrested in connection with the assault at around 2:25pm near the scene.

Detective Inspector Justin Spanner, from Force CID, said: “We are in the very early stages of this investigation and are still speaking to witnesses.

“I want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the assault at around 1:30pm and who has any information about what exactly happened.”

A large number of officers were sent to the scene to reassure college students and local residents.
