Playing in the sun?
Don’t be too energetic like our cheerleading friend here….
Much has been said of Russ Morris. Cheeky, likeable, good company, modest? Maybe some of those. Catch his Hall of Fame as you get in to work, with music from a year that'll mean a lot.
Don’t be too energetic like our cheerleading friend here….
WARNING! Don’t try this at home. I don’t need to tell you that because you’re very intelligent. This guy is old enough to know better than to open an ice cold beer with a chainsaw. What happens though? Oh…
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have become weather presenters during a tour of a TV station in Scotland
Charles and Camilla, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, toured the BBC’s Glasgow headquarters as the organisation marks 60 years of television broadcasting in the country.
They were shown the news studio by presenter Sally Magnusson and introduced to the weather team.
Charles was then invited to read a specially written weather bulletin, with references to royal residences in Scotland.
He said: “It’s an unsettled picture as we head towards the end of the week.
“This afternoon, it’ll be cold, wet and windy across most of Scotland.
“There’ll be snow for the higher ground of the Highlands and Aberdeenshire – the potential for a few flurries over Balmoral as the afternoon goes on.”
“Who the hell wrote this script?” the prince joked.
After reading about the poor weather, Charles finished by saying: “Thank God, it isn’t a bank holiday.”
Camilla then read the same forecast in the studio.
Weatherman Stav Danaos said he thought he might have a new rival for his job.
He added: “They did a great job and were consummate professionals.
“The prince even ended with his own pay-off line, which is always good.”
How exciting! One of the worlds most popular apps is now a theme park in Finland! Watch below, the home movie of someone walking round Angry Birds Land. I feel a bit underwhelmed…
Following the sad news that Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch (MCA) passed away on Friday, Coldplay did a special tribute. Quite simply, Stunning.
How amazing was Pudsey the dancing dog on BGT last night? I was impressed. And also a little bit upset. A canine is cuter, sweeter and has better rhythm than me. Can Pudsey win BGT 2012? Now ‘me keys, me phone’ is no longer in I say yes….
The bad weather brings down tress across the area.
