The Theme Park Ride Photo Game
Next time you’re off up Drayton Manor or Alton Towers put a bit of thought into the ride photos. Last week you might have read about the chap who proposed to his missus on the log flume. Some how he managed to convince her to sit at the front (always the wettest place) so he and his mates could pull out bits of paper spelling out the big question Will You Marry Me? She had no idea until they got to the photo booth, by which time she’d probably given him a slap for getting her soaked! She said yes by the way
It reminded me of the time we did a University Reunion at Alton towers. Again on the log flume, my one mate Luke insisted on sitting at the back. On the last drop while we were all bracing for a drenching, he pulled out a blindfold and held up a sign saying “Help! These 3 guys have kidnapped me”. The reaction at the photo booth was hilarious. Unfortunately we didn’t buy the photo and are still kicking ourselves about it!
